On March 2nd, 1925, Peoples National Bank was officially opened. Organized by
a few local people, this small town bank began with a capital of $25,000 and a surplus of $5,000. Surviving during a
period of financial uncertainty, the bank
was directed to assist the problems that confronted many people of the district.
"Honesty and service" was the motto
for Peoples National Bank when it was opened. Its formation was described as
the beginning of a new life in Hayward. Allowing the local people to develop
a lasting relationship with the bank and
its staff was thought to bring a new confidence back into the local community. |

Expanding Toward the Future
Several decades later, the need to expand the single Hayward branch became evident. In 1996, the doors of the first Eau Claire branch of Peoples Bank of Wisconsin proudly opened.
Each of our Peoples Bank of Wisconsin branches continue to uphold the motto and tradition of our founders. Customer satisfaction and individualized financial solutions remain the most important elements of our success. |
